So many key changes are taking place making Cobia hunting a very rewarding endeavor! Water temperature is rising with the high sun and water is still clear from the winter. Here are a couple tips on how to increase your Cobia hunt. If you are bottom fishing for Snapper and other species that inhabit our local waters have a rod rigged and ready so you can pitch a bait at the Cobia when he follows in. Also the flats in 3 to 6 feet of water are holding “Brown Clowns” (Cobia) following in the stingray migration. Cobia are fun to catch, great to eat and this is an awesome time to catch them!
